Our vision is to have a world where all students have access to the resources they need to succeed at school.

Our Mission

The mission of EduExito is to provide students from under-resourced areas in the Dominican Republic with basic school supplies, resources, and support in order to succeed in school.

Program 1: School Supply Distribution & Parent Orientation

We personally hand-deliver school supply kits, including notebooks, pencils, colored pencils, water bottles, PE uniforms, and backpacks, to children and families in under-resourced, rural communities in the Dominican Republic. To date, five partner schools benefit from our supply distribution efforts. Alongside each distribution, we host parent orientation sessions to engage families in their children's education and connect them with available resources.

Program 2: Community Outreach Program

Beyond the classroom, we recognize that children thrive when their basic needs are met. Through our Community Outreach Program, we distribute toys and clothing to families in need throughout the year. During the holiday season, we also organize special food distributions to ensure families can celebrate with a meal on the table because supporting the students means supporting the whole family. 

Who We Serve

We currently serve families and students across two regions of the Dominican Republic. Our founding community is San Juan de la Maguana, located in the western region, a rural area of hard-working people that remains isolated and highly under-resourced. We have since expanded our reach to Jamey, San Cristóbal, a remote, low-income community in the southern region. Across both areas, students attending public schools often lack essential supplies such as notebooks, pencils, colored pencils, backpacks, and water bottles, and many families struggle to meet basic daily needs 

We believe that understanding the communities we serve is essential to making a lasting impact. Our team has conducted research and written about the educational challenges facing students in the Dominican Republic — from the realities of rural, isolated schools to the importance of health education for young girls.
